IT Inteligence is a Reporting suite that:

  • Allows easy building of medium and long-term Custom Performance Reports
  • Includes a Dashboard with many Pre-build Report

Each Adlex Performance Monitoring System consist of one or more data collection appliances (network probes [Passive Listening Device or PLD], or Netflow collectors) and one or more Report Servers that run the UserVisibility or ITI software packages.


UserVisibility :

The Adlex UserVisibility system tells IT managers who is using which resources, when, and to what extent - along with any problems they are having. While existing IT management tools tell you how well the components of your infrastructure are working, Adlex reports how your users and customers are actually using them. That is a critical difference.
UserVisibility auto-discovers all your servers, applications, and Web pages, then keeps track of how users work with them. From the moment the appliance is powered-up, its wealth of information helps you to:

  • assure goor response times for Web and other missions-critical services
  • plan capacity, identify pain-free cost savings, and improve services

Client View :

UserVisibility (UV) Client View is an end-to-end performance management solution that provides management and operations support the ability to monitor individual users in a completely passive manner, without the use of desktop or server agents. It complements existing management systems by providing the missing component -- accurate visibility into actual response time experienced by remote users of business applications. For the first time, IT technical support staff can proactively monitor individual user performance, detect and identify the source of a problem quickly before they become serious.

Internet Path View :

Enables you to see where your Web customers are coming from, the exact paths your data takes to get to them, and any bottlenecks along the way. The system helps network managers cut costs and improve performance by providing the data needed to intelligently switch CIDR blocks among service providers based on cost and performance. It also identifies free-peering relationships that would be mutually advantageous for you and other autonomous systems that are one or more routing hops beyond your current service providers.

Page View :

helps you assure good response times for online customers by measuring the performance of every Web page loaded into their browsers. Now it's possible to know exactly what performance every user is getting for every page, regardless of where they are located. Page View tells you who is having problems, how severe they are, and how much of the problems are due to connection speed, server delays, network errors, and page design. "What-if" capabilities quantify the impact of potential improvements, so you can know in advance what would be gained by generating pages faster, limiting page size, or upgrading dial-up users to broadband access.

Data Center View :

Is both a window into your IT infrastructure and a dashboard that provides unique status information about the use of all your available resources. Data Center View reports how many servers are operating on your network and what applications are running on them. The system captures usage statistics and automatically calculates baselines so that it can send e-mail and pager alerts as well as notify umbrella management systems whenever it detects abnormalities. As the ultimate IT planning aid, this solution identifies under- and over-utilized resources and includes modules for trend analysis and capacity planning.


IT Inteligence :

Many Adlex customers have requested to build their own reports. Adlex response was IT Intelligence System (ITI).

  • Platform for development and distribution of custom reports
  • Positioned as Analytical and Planning Tool
  • Up to 1 year or more of data retention (at most granular level)

Features :

  • Provides a means of storing a large volume of data and producing custom analyses and reports
  • Adlex PLD can feed the ITI system concurrent to feeding the Client View Report Server
  • ITI provides granular storage of data elements for extended periods (1 year or more)
  • ITI is a platform for building and auto-distributing executive level reports, producing usage-based accounting reports/extracts, and integrating web server logs with regular PLD data for custom analysis
  • Adlex provides report-building tools -- Brio Explorer (non-web) and/or an Adlex optimized version of ThinSlicer for use via the web
