TelAlert Voice
TelAlert Voice gives you all the capabilities of TelAlert, plus the license and hardware you need to deliver voice messages and let recipients interact with TelAlert and integrated
applications via touch-tone telephone.
Full Range of Voice Destinations
TelAlert Voice can dial a telephone number, monitor call progress, validate the identity of the person who answers, and then speak its message. When appropriate, it will negotiate voicemail or
answering machine systems and leave a recorded message. It can also broadcast alerts through loudspeakers.
Customizable Vocabulary in Four Languages
The extensive vocabulary of TelAlert Voice is stored on a flash memory card, making it easy to add, delete, or replace words and phrases. The vocabulary is available in English, French, German, and
Spanish.
Interactive Voice Response (IVR)
Users can enter keypad input to accept or decline messages when they are delivered by TelAlert over the telephone. Users can also dial in and interact with TelAlert - and even the backoffice
applications with which it is integrated - via customizable IVR menus.

Two Approaches
The TelAlert Voice Engine connects to the serial port of the machine on which TelAlert is installed or a centrally networked terminal server. It works with all platforms and, using its
built-in modem, can also send text pages through a dial-up connection with a wireless service provider.

Windows users can choose to use a Dialogic telephony card to enable voice messaging, while UNIX users can also use Dialogic cards on a "slave" Windows server. This option
supports all the functions of the TelAlert Voice Engine except for its use as a modem. The Major advantage of Dialogic cards is that you can have four (or multiples) phone lines to dial in and
out.
